B.B.A./B.S., Finance, Investment, & Banking; Real Estate; Mathematics (certificate), University of Wisconsin-Madison

Wilson is a dedicated young professional with a strong passion for impact real estate investment and development. He joined MIT to pursue an MSRED with the aim of expanding his knowledge and skill set in real estate investment, funds, gaining a deeper understanding of environmental challenges in building, regional development policy, and quantitative tools for visualizing market changes and population needs.

While pursuing his MIT degree, Wilson concurrently works as a part-time development associate at Related Companies, where he is actively involved in acquisition, development, refinance, and syndication closing processes. His responsibilities include structuring capital stacks, managing entitlements, handling public relations, overseeing design and construction, as well as conducting thorough financial underwriting and due diligence for potential residential and commercial investment opportunities.

Before joining MIT, Wilson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with double majors in Finance, Investment, & Banking and Real Estate, along with a certificate in Mathematics. He was selected to participate in the Applied Equity Market Research program, a highly competitive one-year practitioner-taught investment management program. This program focused on business model analysis, valuation approaches, market research, due diligence, field research, and preparing for professional-level equity investments.

Following his graduation from UW-Madison, Wilson joined J. Jeffers & Co., a mission-driven boutique developer based in the Midwest, with a special focus on historic rehabilitation and tax credit incentives. He served as an acquisition/investment analyst, utilizing his skills in quantitative financial underwriting to create valuation tools and models for evaluating real estate investment opportunities.
