Masters Environmental Policy and Planning (UEP), Tufts University
Bill is interested in urban planning, local government land use policy, housing market dynamics, and the intersection of these topics with social justice and equity.
Bill has roughly six years of work experience in Facilities Management in the non-profit higher education sector. His most recent job at Tufts University included overseeing the building management system (BMS), which operates mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems throughout campus using an internal network of servers and controllers. In this role, he worked closely with the engineering department to improve equipment efficiency, building energy consumption, and interior climate control. Furthermore, he assisted the project management team by reviewing BMS floorplan graphics, equipment programming, and alarm notifications for certification and project close out. While working full-time, Bill also worked to complete a master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning (UEP) at Tufts University.
Bill believes the MSRED curriculum will complement his current knowledge base and bolster his understanding of additional topics such as, urban design, architecture, real estate finance, and housing market economics.
