Washington, DC
MBA, Yale University

Robby comes to MIT with a deep interest in the design, finance, and construction of the built environment, the economics of housing, and the planning of urban ecosystems. At MIT, he hopes to build upon his own experience and lay the foundation for a fruitful career in the investment and development of multifamily housing. In addition, he looks forward to exploring his curiosities, filling the gaps in his skillset, and learning from his brilliant peers and faculty.

Prior to arriving in Cambridge, Robby spent over five years in multifamily and mixed-use development, sourcing, underwriting, financing, constructing, and disposing of assets with a combined value of $500m across the Sun Belt and northeast United States. The experience provided him with an appreciation for the myriad roles played by developers and the great responsibility (to all stakeholders) inherent in the profession. Before his career in commercial real estate, Robby spent several years in private equity and management consulting, where he honed his communication, organization, and planning skills, and learned how to identify and execute upon value-enhancing strategies.

Robby previously earned an MBA at Yale University, where he took several courses at the Yale School of Architecture, and focused his studies on investment and development, urban planning, infrastructure, economics, and housing. In his free time, Robby enjoys running, biking, hiking, camping, great coffee, and exploring with his golden retriever, Rhys.

Robby is a humble recipient of the Blake Eagle Fellowship for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.
