Larry Zhang

Larry joins CRE with a diverse background in tech, government/public sector consulting, and residential RE. Motivated by the desire to help fashion a more equitable and ecologically sustainable world, Larry is keen to deepen his knowledge of finance, design, and urbanism at MIT to further the role that real estate development and the built environment can take in addressing society’s challenges, with a particular interest in the execution of mixed-use, adaptive reuse, and mass timber concepts.

A North Carolina native, Larry was first inspired to real estate by the local pockets of rebirth he encountered wandering Durham’s former tobacco warehouses and industrial spaces. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Wood Family Scholar.
